Jaune Quick-to-See Smith Walks on

Prolific artist Jaune Quick-to-See Smith, citizen of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes, walked on last month, at the age of 86. She was the first Native American artist to have work displayed at the Whitney, and the first to have a painting acquired by the National Gallery of Art.
