Native Artist Professional Development Training

First Peoples Fund is offering a free professional development training for Native artists September 11–12, 2025. The two-day virtual training is designed to strengthen your arts business. This workshop is part of First Peoples Fund’s Native Artis Professional Development (NAPD) program, which provides real-world tools and resources to help artists navigate the arts industry and become successful entrepreneurs.
Participants will have opportunities to:
● Express your personal vision and values as the foundation of your business.
● Identify your marketing, business, and financial management abilities using self-assessment tools.
● Budget and establish a successful pricing structure.
● Market your business using a variety of approaches and tools.
● Create a mission statement and a brief pitch about your artwork.
Workshop Schedule
Dates: September 11 & 12, 2025
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. CST each day (includes a 1-hour lunch break)
Location: Virtual on Zoom
This training is completely free and offered virtually to support Native artists and creatives.

You must register by September 4, 2025 to receive a training manual by mail. If you register after September 4, you will need to arrange manual pickup at Native Inc.’s Fargo office.
