Create Public Art to honor Owámniyomni

From the city of Minneapolis:
Artists and artist teams are invited to apply to design and create an artwork to honor Owámniyomni. Owámniyomni is a place of rich cultural heritage to the Dakhóta and other people of the area. The artwork will be installed at Water Works Park, a part of Mill Ruins Park, within the Dakhóta traditional homelands.
The selected artist/artist team and the Dakhóta community will collaborate on the design. Native American/American Indian/First Nations people are invited and encouraged to apply.
