Be an Artist in Residence at American Indian Community House in New York City

The American Indian Community House (AICH) is accepting applications for artists in residence, housed on Governors Island.
Artist must submit a portfolio of their artwork along with this application. Each artist that is approved will receive a stipend of $3,000.00 for each month of their residency, with a two-month maximum.
The artist is responsible for covering all expenses related to travel and living in NYC during their residency. Artists are expected to be on Governor’s Island every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am -4:00 pm during their residency.
Artists must commit to hosting one workshop per month available to the general public and one workshop with our youth group. AICH will provide materials for these events, which will be posted and published on the AICH website & social media.
