Ma’s House calls for artists to submit for “Nothing is Fixed” Exhibition

Ma’s House is calling for artists to submit for the upcoming exhibit “Nothing is Fixed” at the Old Stone House in Brooklyn, New York.

This exhibit is inspired by James Baldwin’s 1964 work Nothing Personal: “Nothing is fixed, forever, and forever, and forever. It is not fixed. The earth is always shifting, the light is always changing, the sea does not cease to grind down rock. What you have, you hold. What you don’t have, you can’t hold.”

The exhibit will run from August 9, 2025, through October 13, 2025. Art mediums can include: digital and video, outdoor installations, small three-dimensional installations and wall-mounted art.

Applications and more information can be accessed here and MUST be submitted by May 1, 2025.
