The Only Good Indian

The University of Kansas Film and Media Studies Department is hosting a Kevin Willmott Film Festival celebrating four of his films, including “The Only Good Indian.” 

Willmott is an Academy Award-winning Director for his work on the BlacKkKlansman and KU professor emeritus of Film and Media Studies. 

The Festival will be held at Liberty Hall in Lawrence, Kansas on February 18-21. The film, “The Only Good Indian,” will be shown on February 19 at 7:00 p.m. with a post-screening conversation with Willmott, Wes Studi, Tom Carmody and Laura Kirk. Moderated by Jancita Warrington, Executive Director of Kansas Native American Affair.
