Winter Indian Market to Feature 160 Artists

The Southwestern Association for Indian Arts is set to host its 21st annual Winter Indian Market from Nov. 28-29 in Santa Fe.
The market will feature handcrafted jewelry, pottery, paintings, ornaments, and more from 160 SWAIA artists. A smaller version of the summertime Santa Fe Indian Market, which marked its 104th year this past August, Winter Indian Market offers attendees the chance to take their time at each booth and talk directly with the artists.
“It’s an opportunity to build lasting connections with the makers and to bring home art that carries its story with it,” the press release said.
Additional activities include native food vendors, live music, and dance performances. A virtual silent auction will be held for those who cannot attend but wish to support the artists.
SWAIA is a nonprofit organization supporting Native American arts and culture. It produces the Santa Fe Indian Market, the largest and most prestigious art event for Native artists.
The Winter Indian Market will be held at the Santa Fe Community Convention Center. For more information and to purchase tickets, click here.
