‘The Indigenous Show’ held at Gallery 121 exhibits more than a dozen artists

Gallery 121 in Belleville, Ontario, is holding its annual showcase of Indigenous artists with work from more than a dozen artists on display.

“The Indigenous Show” features work from guest artists and artists affiliated with Gallery 121. The show opened January 13 and runs until February 7.

Featured artists include David R Maracle, Rebecca Maracle, Janice Brant, Suzanne Brant, Tyler Rushnell, Theresa Brant, Jennifer Brant, Allison Lynn and Kory Parkin. All of the artists hail from Tyendinaga, Deseronto, and surrounding areas.

Gallery 121 is a non-profit cooperative art gallery founded in 1991 by Quinte area visual artist to provide exhibition space for its members, and is located at 48 Bridge Street East in Belleville.

Exhibition hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, click here.
