Call for Artists for Upcoming Indian Child Welfare Conference

The National Indian Child Welfare Association is calling artists to showcase talents in support of its Protecting Our Children Conference initiative in its annual conference.  

The selected artist will be awarded $2,000 for the use of the artists work in promotional materials for the 2027 conference. Artists will also receive an arts and craft vendor booth. The image will be published on the NICWA’s website and be the central visual in the event. 

The NICWA hosts this conference to raise awareness on Tribal child welfare and well-being. The conferences include topics of mental health, welfare, family involvement and legal affairs for attendees to learn about. The 2027 conference will be held in Albuquerque, New Mexico. 

Applicants have until May 15 to apply for this opportunity.
