Room Magazine Calls for Creative Non-Fiction, Photography and Art Submissions

Room Magazine’s upcoming Issue 48.4 is calling for Canadian and International creative non-fiction writers, photographers and artists to submit works on various topics.
They are specifically looking for underrepresented writers and artists.
Its Native focused topic for this issue is Indigenous Futurism. Other topics include: “urgency, and the failure to be urgent; mistakes; complicity; consequences; the texture and feeling of the present; the lingering of the past; Afrosurrealism; Indigenous futurism; what the world will look like when Palestine is free; critical Canadiana, grounded in place and amid this surge of nationalism”.
Submissions are on a rolling basis and can be submitted here.
Room Magazine is Canada’s oldest feminist literary magazine, published quarterly since 1975. “Room publishes literature, art, and criticism by cis and trans women, trans men, Two-Spirit, and nonbinary people, and is committed to an intersectional feminist mandate centring 2SLGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and disabled voices.”
