Nanibaa Beck to speak and showcase jewelry at Santa Fe event

The Wheelwright Museum of the American Indian, in Santa Fe, New Mexico, will be hosting a conversation with Native jeweler Nanibaa Beck (Navajo). On April 18, there will be a presentation and opportunity to talk with her at the SWAIA and Heard Museum Fair.
Nanibaa started BECK STUDIO and learned silversmith skills from her family. She continued the tradition of jewelry making and continues to sell her art at annual shows. Nanibaa intertwines her knowledge with into her art work.
Each of her pieces of jewelry is handmade on Tohono O’odham and Pascua Yaqui lands in Tuscon, Arizona. The artist will bring limited amount of works at the event for sale.
Members can enter for free and non-members pay a $15 fee with registration.
